Julian Sayarer is a journalist and author. In 2009 he set a world record for circumnavigating the globe by bicycle. He writes politics at roadsides and amongst his books is a past winner of the Stanford Dolman Travel Book of the Year for Interstate, an account of a hitchhiked journey from New York to San Francisco.
